Jacques Koppel // Senior Associate
Jacques has been a recognized leader in technology based economic development for over 20 years. He is a principal in Koppel Group LLC, a strategic management services company that provides innovative solutions to public sector organizations on issues relating to regional competitiveness.
His previous experience includes serving as CEO of Minnesota Technology, Inc., the state’s public/private partnership, and as Director of Pennsylvania’s Office of Technology Development and Ben Franklin Partnership, managing a $40 million state investment.
Jacques has extensive experience in working with leaders in the public and private sectors, as well as academia. He has chaired the National Governor’s Association Science & Technology Council, as well as serving on the Boards of the National Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing, the State Science & Technology Institute and the Center for the Development of Technological Leadership, University of Minnesota. He has also served on committees for the Council on Competitiveness, the National Science Foundation and National Academy of Sciences.
Jacques has a M.Sc. Degree from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from New York University
